I have really been enjoying this fantasy manga series and this book was a wonderful addition to the series. Things are really starting to come together in this book.
Aladdin and Morgiana journey to the city of Balbadd in search of Alibaba. There they run into Sinbad and offer to help him take care of a group of thieves in the city called the Fog Troop. Much to their surprise they find out at Alibaba is the leader of this Fog Troop. Aladdin is concerned, has his friend really changed so drastically?
The beginning of this book focuses on Morgiana, we get to learn her history and backstory and watch her kick some serious slaver butt. I really enjoy her as a character and I loved learning more about her.
When Aladdin and Morgiana travel to Balbadd we get to meet King Sinbad. Sinbad is an absolutely awesome character, he is funny and powerful and just a lot of fun to read about.
We also meet the Fog Troop and some of the members of Fog Troop have some swords with seriously crazy magic powers. Again a lot of fun to read about.
Things are kind of coming full circle in this novel, our characters are grouping back up and we are poised to find out what drove Alibaba from Balbadd to begin with.
I love this world and the characters are well done and so much fun. There is a lot of magic and action. The plot is well done as well. The illustration is fantastic, easy to follow, and fun to look at. There were times when I wish it was in color though, I didn’t realize the Morgiana supposedly has red hair and Ugo is blue….this was mentioned in the text but it would be so fun to see.
Overall another fantastic installment in this series. I love the world, the characters, and all the action. I also enjoy the mythology woven throughout the story. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next volume of the book! I would definitely recommend this series to young adults and older who love fantasy manga.

I continue to enjoy this series immensely. It has everything I love: magic, battles, paranormal, developed characters and a strong storyline. Morgiana is probably the focus of this volume, though Aladdin is a close second. Captured by slave traders once again Mor. puts her new found talents as a Fanaris warrior to use and we have some great strong female warrior action as she saves not only herself but many others, eventually meeting up with Aladdin once more. They set off on the journey to Balbadd together, Mor so she can take the ship back to her homeland and Aladdin so he can find his long separated friend Alibaba. What greets them in Balbadd is a town under siege and terror of a horde of thieves who rob from the rich and give to the poor. But they meet the King and he is a nice guy so they agree to help him out with the thief problem. Old friends reunite under difficult circumstances and introduced is a new familiar character from the annals of "The Arabian Nights". A great ending to the book in the way of: "now let me tell you a story ...."
