There are lots of problems with this book that I don't know where to begin.
First, some of the advice is dead wrong and contradictory. For example, anybody that knows anything about Tokyo, Japan knows there are two major airports: Narita and Haneda. The book acknowledges that Haneda is closer to Tokyo, but then goes on to state that Narita is the "easiest" airport to use if you are traveling to Tokyo.
Not true. If you have the money, Haneda is better to land at from the United States because it is only 12 miles south of Tokyo and there is public transportation to Tokyo from Haneda. Narita on the other hand, is going to take 90 minutes by taxi or bus. And yes, you can use public transportation but it is going to take longer than if you had just flown into Haneda.
So the writing is not very clear. And this is not what I expect from a publication that is in its 21st edition. And from a publication like Fodor's.
