I've read this manga online, but there are a few things that you get from this book that you won't in online posts of this manga. If you've followed the series, this will be a great buy for you.

Ok. . . .
For the fans of the Haruhi Suzimiya storyline, you know the characters and the plotline. But in this spin-off series we are introduced to the Yuki and Kyon of another timeline. This Nagato is not the robot-like one that we are more familiar with. She looks the same and she still has a varying degree of shyness, but various chararacters are different and others are the same. Entering into this parallel reality, comes the original Nagoto when this version gets hit on the head.
See how confusing time traveling becomes?
The art is beautiful. Tanigawa does an excellent job in conveying personality with just a few expressions and glances.
But something is lost in this reinterpretation. What makes the original Yuki so appealing was her robot-like personality and her repressed feelings for Kyon. This made the reader want her to be human. Without that aspect, this Nagato Yuki-Chan just becomes another sweet, innocent, shy young girl who is beginning to open up to her friends.
This same problem happens to Kyon. His original personality, aloofness, intelligence and snarkiness seems to be missing. Here is more of a regular nice guy rather than one who has been burdened by his knowledge and relationship with Haruhi Suzimiya and all other young ladies in his reality.
We still don't know where this storyline is heading; nor do we know how everything ties together. I am intrigued, but I'd love to see more of the original character's personalities
