I find it ridiculous that this book is listed as a paper back edition of the full book. It should be listed as what it is, an abridged edition. I bought it without realizing. It isn't the same book! It shouldn't be listed as another format of a book if it is in fact, not the same and has a different ISBN. Amazon should have a separate listing for this instead of including it with the full 8th edition. Most people who buy this are students looking to save a few bucks. Now I have to return it because it includes about 20% of the readings my class requires and wait for the full version to arrive. Waste of my time. Organize your site properly, Amazon.

I thought this was just a different format for the 8th edition. However, it left so many stories and commentaries out, I was not able to use it for my class. Make sure it is okay with your teacher before you buy it for your class.
