Baker and Ricciardi provide a thorough and current amalgam of all areas of behavioral finance. I would recommend "Investor Behavior" for individual investors, educators, students and practitioners in the financial planning and investment fields. Although there are common themes repeated throughout the various chapters, this does not dampen the effectiveness of the read; in fact, it helps the primary topics resonate even more for the reader. My takeaway as an educator and practitioner is that there needs to be more education in this ever burgeoning field. Traditional finance and economics undergraduate and graduate level curricula should have an interdisciplinary focus by incorporating psychology and human/consumer behavioral courses so that graduates can be better equipped to provide counsel in behavioral finance issues.
