Join Emma Yoder Miller, the Amish widow-turned-newlywed, as she leads another quilting class with a new group of unlikely students, all with tattered pieces of their lives that need mending. Members of the patchwork group find friendship, faith, healing, and restoration while gathered around their quilts, under the Father’s guiding hands—for only He can take what’s ragged and shabby from the lives of His children and turn it into beauty for His glory.

Ms. Brunstetter has a magical way of making her characters come to life and feel like we are involved in the story and this one is no different.
Emma Yoder Miller and her newlywed husband, Lamar are offering a new Quilting Class that consists of six sessions and takes place in their home, they have done this in the past but this is a new one.
Six members of the class are all meeting at the first session and each are entirely different then the others and so are their reasons for joining. Anna's mother has signed her up although she has no interest in attending. Carmen is taking the class to help her complete her work as a reporter on the Amish. Blaine lost a fishing bet and has to take the class. Selma who is a busybody was given the class as a gift. Cheryl wants to have a quilt repaired for her Grandmothers 85th birthday and decides to take the class also. Last is Terry a roofer who has long hair and smokes and seems to be annoying almost everyone in the group by his appearance and his smoke smell.
As the classes continue we see how each of these people are opening up and telling secrets from their past and hoping to change things in their present life. In addition to quilting advice Emma and Lamar are their to offer hope, inspiration and the practices of God and how he can help heal broken hearts, show forgiveness and even forgetting the past and moving on.
It is a wonderful story and you will be so happy that you choose this story as it is definitely worth the read.

VINE VOICE
Well Wanda has done it again could it be possible to write another 5 star book half as good as The half Stitched Amish Quilting Club! The answer is Yes, this one was just as good and I loved every one of the characters in this one. I would love to take a quilting class at Emma's house.
I have a very good friend who loves to quilt and I thought of her with each turn of the page she is not Amish but she could teach a class with the heart of Emma.
I HIGHLY recommend this 5 star book. I enjoyed it so much I hated to see it end. Speaking of the end oh boy just you wait. Who knows maybe Wanda will write a third book in this series.
I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest review. Thank you Wanda.
